I uhh... got a little distracted. Probably time to move the desk to a non-trafficked area.

Not bad after logging 12 laps before qualifying, though. No idea if I could have held off Norm, I was obviously sloppy.

Wow! I....am.....tired. That track is a real workout.

I didnít have much time to prepare for this one but I was still pretty quick in race trim only losing out in a few areas. Consistency wasnít there though because of the lack of practice but fortunately I didnít have any run-ins with the red curbs of death!!!@!!!@

Running softs and max downforce gave me an edge early on and I was right on Angeloís tail for the first 15 laps or so. We were really dicing it up through traffic but I tried to stay patient and wait for a mistake. I was able to gain a lot in the braking zones for the corkscrew and at turn 11. Unfortunately I gained too much and ran right into the back of Angelo spinning us both. Iím glad we were both able to continue. Sorry for that Angelo I think we could have battled for the win without my poor braking.

My softs fell off towards the end of the race but I was able to turn laps in the 1.17s consistently maintaining the gap to 4th. Really thrilled with the podium and even though Iím still mathematically in the race for the championship its going to be a tough road to make that happen. The real race is for 2nd place in the P2 category with 8 points separating 2nd-4th!

Thanks everybody for a great race

First time I've ever been able to describe a round at Laguna as tranquil for a period of time. And then someone took out the 2 board and all hell broke loose. Had a good time otherwise. Traffic worked out well, thank you guys for that. I'm going to go unwind a bit and see if I can get some sleep.

I would like to say I didn't have time to prepare, or something was wrong with my computer just to have an excuse as to why I was off the pace so much, but there really isn't one. I just could NOT find the rhythm at this track with the Corvette, and when I qualified behind the top 2 in GTC, I kind of figured it wasn't going to get any better. Race start was fine, but I just never found the pace. Tried to stay out of the way of lap cars, and anyone else for that matter, and was just trying my best to get through the night when I lost the rear end and caught the inside wall at T5. Didn't think much of it, but after getting the car straightened out, the steering wheel was about 30 degrees left to go straight, so I nursed it around trying to stay out of everyone's way (I hope I did), made it to the pits and let them fix the car. Came out, did a couple of laps, and parked it figuring at this point it wasn't worth messing up someone else's night when I didn't have a shot at gaining any more positions.

Congratulations to Fahn on another GTC win, Jon on his GTE class win that put him atop the points standings, and to Kyle for another barn-burner of a win! Thanks everyone for coming out and supporting the series, I think we had a good sized field for this place tonight, but going to Road Atlanta next, then Daytona Road Course, really hoping we might have a few more join us so there's always someone in the windshield ahead.

I'll try to get the next track up and cycling in the next day or two.

I think it sounded like a joke when I said on the server after the race :"How can someone dont love this track?".
But it was a true quote from me...lol. I love this track. To me is one of the best in the world, and a great place for this kind of racing.

For a change, this time on the P2s things were pretty close, and for once I had something to JT and Kyle, at least on race pace.
Of course, I still was slower, but a lot closer.
Race was pretty intense with traffic all the way, and lots of fun. I think everyone fighting for the lead had a problem or two.
On my case, I had 2. First Colin hit me from behind in a strange way. Now Iīve saw his explanation, I understand.
And then on the closing stages, while trying to chase down Kyle, I catched the GTC of DiLibero out of shape at the corckscrew, had to do a more wide line, enough for a spin.
My car never sustained any damage, and in the end, the result was very good.
I had a lot of fun chasing and being chased, with Colin, JT and Kyle. Probably the race I enjoyed the most this season!

Only 2 thinks keeps dissapointing me.
The turn out, with the numbers with had at the time of signing up, to me is really sad we hardly get 20 drivers to race.
    And the second, rF2 itself.
Dont get me wrong, is a great sim. But this lack of stability for online events, and things that happens only while going online, really annoying.
I cant get around the fact that I can have a offline race with all graphics on max and 35 cars, and online feels like an old broken game about to crash such is the lag.

    Anyway, good night of racing!

Sounded like it was fun and scary at the same time. This is a great track but to get a grip on its rhythm as Tim said is tough. I am sorry that I missed this race, got practice in and started to feel good about this race. Problem was I had to rush my Wife to the hospital. She is going to have to stay there for a few days. So I spent over 10 hours there and didn't get home until well after the race ended.
See you guys in two weeks.
