What do you mean Chris? The track map doesn't show it! LOL....I just caught that, it's fixed.

We will NOT be using the chicane on the back straight.

To clarify the point at which everyone ends pace speed and accelerates to the S/F line, I will now start posting graphics in the Race Briefing such as the one below:

So everyone closes up out of Turn 17a, and then at the start of pit entrance the Prototype or GT Class Pole Sitter will accelerate to the start/finish line. Passing is not allowed (unless someone has a problem of course), but everyone needs to maintain their qualifying position until after the S/F line (which is at the end of pit road)

If you have ANY questions, this is the time to ask....I will repeat this again on race night in the driver's briefing, but I need to make sure everyone understands this now.

    Heads up

Be careful at pit lane exit. The exit line is not between the two orange cones, but actually a few feet beyond. Here's a rough estimate of where it is. You can test this by speeding in the pit lane, slowing near the cones, and driving slowly forward. When you cross the line, you'll instantly get a drive-thru.

[-Headslap!-] Of COURSE you can, thank you. I've been doing it the hard way up 'til now.

Just one of so many basics I've forgotten about how to do all this.

First time on this rF2 version of VIR, after RA this is another excellent track choice.

I just finished watching the IMSA race 2 days ago and also practicing for this race gave me a good chance to compare. Track dimensions (width) and elevation changes are spot on, almost like lazer scan quality. Tackling the snake all the way to Oak Tree corner is a blast. Very pleased with this track, looking forward to an exciting race tonight forsure.
