Default RBR and RSRBR Tricks and Tips

This will make your wheel look normal during playback

    1. Open the main game directory and create a folder called Misc
    2. Scroll down and click on the misc.rbz file (brown).
    3. Click on the misc file it opened and find the LM Driver file.
    4. Open the LM Driver file and change the steering degree value from 60 to 240.
    5. Close the file and when it prompts save, save it do the Misc folder you created.
    6. Launch the game and enjoy!

Default RBR and RSRBR Tricks and Tips

Here are a couple of particle modifications that will make RSRBR look alot neater on playback. They are in order of intensity so you need some graphic "smack" to make your replays look way cool. v2.5 by mayakist is less work for you computer to produce. They come from the extinct BH Motorsports website.

    1. Open the rar file.
    2. Open your map file in main game directory and choose type at the top. Find and place the map files that match those in the upgrade in a safe place (make a copy just in case).
    3. Copy the new map files directly into the map folder.
    4. Launch the game and check it out on a replay.

    Cheers

    I like them both. Enjoy

Here is a quick one stop shopping "macro" for making adjustments to the game without having to do the work. You can experiment with screen resolution, FPS, sounds, etc on tabs that make the changes for you. If you dont like them simply launch the mod and change.

Caution! DO NOT PLAY with the physics tab. Taboo.

    Cheers

Grab the mod in dropbox/Press on RallySport/Uploads/rbr-mod.rar

Had a tiff with your co-driver after that off on the last rally? Want to try out somebody new in the right seat? Pacenotes Manager is the answer. Just download it from the Rallyesim forum and install:

    http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewforum.php?f=69

Pacenotes Manager comes with a number of different co-driver voices, including Phil Mills and a lot of others who are even more difficult to understand. To change to a different co-driver, simply launch Pacenotes Manager from the Plugins menu of RSCenter, or the using the Lanceur d'Add Ons RSRBR icon on your desktop. Select the file you want and click Apply to change the file in the game.

You can also add new voice files to the list by simply placing the downloaded file in the MOD_Pacenotes folder within RBR's main directory. Bonne route!

So what do you do when you have a slight roll or takeout some shrubs and you get a cracked windscreen?

    Option
If you use camhack, you can assign presets for your driving view. When doing recce, and you have your initial cockpit view set, press control and a number key at the same time. This will save that view. To protect against a cracked windscreen, move your view forward until you dont see the windscreen (bonnet view). Press control and another number. Now you have variable presets assigned for your particular car ready for your money stages.

If it happens during a rally, you can quickly press the number assigned to the forward (bonnet) view and not have to look through it for the rest of the stage. This view will also increase your visibility during bad conditions and fog. (I personally dont like watching the windshield wipers during bad conditions).

The number keys are not the keypad, but those at the top of the keyboard. Also, camhack must be active to recall the presets.

    Drive fast
