Troy nice job. Like Steven says, you are finding your rally legs! Like you I really like that little Fabia. Good thing cause my contract so far limits me to just Skoda products. Not willing to try to go to arbitration right now.

Setups ok? Do you have what you like. Its my 2WD car too so I will be working more with it.

    Cheers mate

Everyone says its underpowered but as Matthew stated.... "dont know how they are doing 2:04s". Its call SKILL MAN! Where can I buy a can of it? Anyone... anyone... Bueler?

Thanks! I'm really liking this car and yea, it doesn't have a lot of umph. You really have to carry the speed through the turns, because it lacks torque and 4th/5th gear a quite tall, even with the shortest gear ratio. Right now I'm basically just using two setups. One for Tarmac the other for Gravel. The bumpy tarmac setup that you did for me is great and although it's a bit sketchy on the super bumpy surfaces, like Prospect Ridge, I like it because the rear isn't too sloppy. For gravel surfaces, I took the bumpy tarmac setup and added 30mm to the F/R Strut Platform Height and that's essentially my gravel setup.

    Just finished up leg 2.

Made up a few spots, fairly good runs. Sitting 10th in class, will have to see how that shows up in the points.

    Results in the box.

    Cheers!

Skill is like love, you're either born with an inmense ammount of it, or almost nothing at all.

But yeah, i like that Troy - Fabia combination

Nice job Bret! We should get some good points from this one. Also, a really good drive for Alex in the old AE86 Corolla. Alex - I see you are signed up for Finland next week. Which car are you going to drive?

I had an ok run on this rally. I lost at least 10 seconds on the first stage because I kept thinking that the rally is going to be run 2 stages, service park, then the next 3. I kept reading that its leg 2 after the first few stages but for some reason it didn't click. I ran tarmac int tires on the first stage so that I would be ok in the rain on SS2, not realizing there's a service park in between. The rest of the rally I just drove conservatively to finish. First few rallies I'd prefer not to DNF. Was more then a few seconds off my few practice runs on each stage. I tried saving the results afterwards, but I couldn't figure out how to do it at first, then the results vanished.

And yea I changed to the Finnish rally since we had too many in the other rallies. Going to be driving the Escort in that rally. I have the Escort 1800 as my rally car in a few of the other rallies where group H cars aren't allowed or they don't have their own class. I figure the Escort 2100 isn't going to be that big of a difference over the 1800. Not expecting to do well in that rally, but it should be fun as hell. Driving the Escort on the tarmac was a blast, in the gravel it should be even better.
