Looks pretty freakin sweet.
Do you start with access to all aircraft or do you start with some Cessna and have to earn other craft?
I played a bit of Falcon 5.0 and enjoyed it but got bored with it. I wouldn't mind exploring the virtual real world in this new game if it won't take too too long to learn how to fly. (landing has always been my weakponit)
I flew online for years, with Virtual Airlines such as Delta. Worked my way up to first officer in a Boeing 757. You can spend a fortune too buying aircraft, addons, scenery etc. Flew every addition Microsoft released from day one. I'll tell you its pretty cool to teach yourself how to fly, learn all about the technology as it changes and then master realtime online flight with air traffic control to boot! Have a yoke with pedals and I used Tracker5 which allows your view to move with your head. May have to have a look at this new version of Flight and see if its worth jumping back in.
It's nice and it have been a while since I have fly on Microsoft Flight Simulation (I used to fool around with first version). And that Flying Wild Alaska show have got me wanting to fly again.![]()
Problem is...what do I do with the hundreds of mods I've got on MS FSX now? Then there is the time I need for Rise Of Flight and Wings Of Prey, not to mention SH Wolves Of The Pacific plus, you know, this dang league. Too much good stuff.![]()

You and me both, Jerry. I hardly ever fly ROF anymore. Too busy racing! And I'm ashamed to say how much money I've spent on addons for FSX (mostly scenery from Orbx). But I do love flying in that scenery! I'll get this one when it comes. The beautifully detailed Stearman alone is worth the money to me.
I was pretty hooked on FSEconomy for a while. Even had a 5 FBO operation on the Oregon coast. Got sort of tired of flying in supplies to the same airports all the time.
Maybe I'm the weido, but the excitement I used to get from MS Flight sim came from either landing the Camel in a blinding Chigo storm at Meigs, or landing the Lear on the carrier deck parked just outside the golden gate (without arrestor cables, of course)
I do plan on trying the demo for ROF
