Default 1975 F1 IMPORTANT PATCH [ATT: ALL F1 Drivers]

    Drivers,

Please be sure to download this patch .

It addresses some various issues, mostly tire heating issues.
Direct the zip file to your root AMS folder and install as normal. Allow it to overwrite anything it asks.

No solution for the odd "clac clac" sound, while online?

    It's being looked at/worked on.
It's a sound issue that only effects multiplayer and extends beyond just this mod in AMS. Currently, there are a few discussions on it, one at the Reiza forum, where some advice has been offered.
We're going to see if we cannot find a solution to it, but thus far, no.

I have posted on that bug thread on Reiza's forum, we'll see.

Technically, it's a "clipping" issue. While working on the mod, I mostly tested off line. When I did try it online, I noticed the chip-chip-chip, I thought I was bottoming out on the stretch... it didn't register! When Jason told me about this, I said "ok I'll take a look at it"

I passed the 2 highest rpm sounds through a filter and also reduced their amplitude (volume) but, it did not help. I might need to go through all sound samples and check again.
Also, does the corrected sound clip need to be on the server?

I might find a fix... we might need a whole new set of samples... the sounds might be recorded with the clipped peaks. Does the Ferrari also suffer from the same issue? (In any way, for any reason, will I ever ride in one of those Italian "carriola")

I own crappy boxes... well you know what? 20gigs on a Asus P7P55 LX with an i7-860 running an Asus 560GTX (1gig) on an new AOC Q2963 screen... I'm doing way better! But I still endlessly mod rFactor...
