For rf1 I took all the Real Feel files from AMS that work for me and copied them into my Steam rf1 and it works great, same feel with similar vehicles.
Is there something like XD for AMS? Is there something in there or do we just try to turn on "DynHUD"?

I use CrewChief on all my Steam racing sims. Like common spotter voice once I finally settle on one that doesn't talk down to me!

    Hi Joe,

Those xD files (d3d9.dll) are the same. Same version, same size: 2.1.1.6. The difference is that the steam version just has the dll file, while the xD for RFactor has the dll and XD.ini file. I'm using windows 10 x64, and I have xd working with the DVD version of rFactor, but it doesn't work with the steam version. Any tips/sugestions?

Same here Antonio, I can get GID to work kind of, it messes up my screens especially when off the track. I like XD but it just will not come up, I have Win10-64, nVidia card and Steam sim version. I had a good working d3d9 file from a couple of people that have it working for them but still no go here. Just using the stock sim wear for tires right now.
So any ideas for us the xd doesn't work on?

I use GID v1.1 and it works perfect. I run Win 10-64. But I don't use rFactor 1 through Steam.

    For rFactor in Steam, see
    Racedepartment.com threads issues-with-g-i-d

For GID in AMS, see my Blog entry.

GID messes things up when watching replays. If I just check a few bit, I deal with it. If I want to make a long movie, I rename the file in the Plugins folder and the one in the root by adding .GID to them. Renaming them back after.
I own crappy boxes... well you know what? 20gigs on a Asus P7P55 LX with an i7-860 running a used GTX970 4GD5T OC on an new AOC Q2963 screen... I'm doing way better! I even got myself a barely used G29! But I still endlessly mod rFactor...
