If I remember this correctly, years ago when the league I was in (VOR 2006/7) was running some of the early endurance races we had this problem. I'm not a technical person so I don't know the how and why this worked, but it was decided that everyone had to have the same connection type. Cable/DSL 128k was used, and the problem went away. Now it may have had to do with driver swaps taking out other cars, and the game freezing up, not sure about that, but I am sure that when everyone was on the same page things worked much smoother. Just my very un-technical 2 cents.
