    Notes

6 Stewards involved in this review process. Below are comments from 3 of them:

A- Tyler Alan was in a car, already picked by another driver. He is also not registered to this series yet!
B- The parade lap was extremely sloppy. Even though two cars caused problems off the line there was plenty of time to get back into a good formation. Drivers didnít close up or followed too close making it disorderly. Next race we need to reinforce how a parade lap should be run.
    C- CMS rules stipulates:
~PLEASE MAINTAIN A 2 TO 3 CAR LENGTH GAP TO THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU. ESPECIALLY AT THE END OF THE FORMATION LAP BEFORE WE GET TO THE GREEN STARTING ZONE.
~BRAKE WARMING IS ALLOWED BUT PLEASE DO SO WHILE MAINTAINING YOUR GAP AS TO NOT CAUSE STACK BRAKING OF THE CARS BEHIND YOU.
    ~NO TIRE WARMING.

    Cordoba Protest 1

Due to increasing number of formation lap, start, OZ and beyond OZ incidents that Tyler Alan got involved over the last few seasons, and also big concerns raised by a driver, one of the admins and 3 different stewards on his driving style and incidents in this Cordoba race, RRC (Race Review Cmte) started a protest
process on Tyler Alan that is brought up by one steward (who is excluded from protest review process). Below are beyond OZ incidents that were filed against Tyler:

    6:43 - Racing incident.

13:36 - Bump-pass T. Mountjoy. Although it was not a "deliberate" bump-pass, the end result was the same, as Tyler did not wait for Tom to give position back. NQDT.

21:35 - Unsafe reentry causing a collusion w/ J. Hamilton. Possible body and suspension damage to Hamilton's car. NQSG.

26:46 - Went wide at T1 exit as J. Mac Kay also did two car lengths in front of him. But Tyler did not show any sign of braking or attempting to slow down to prevent contact as he was closing on Mac Kay. He rammed Mac Kay from behind causing him to spin out of track and losing 3 positions, with body damage. NQS&H10.

43:44 - Unsafe reentry forcing a contact between S. Beck (lap traffic) and J. Whited (lapping). NQSG.

43:57 - Bumped S. Beck on front straight, this was completely avoidable. Severe Warning for lack of respect to other driver's track position.

    Penalties Summary

    NQDT
    NQSG x2
    NQS&H10

    Severe Warning

Final: Protest upheld on 5 out of 6 accounts.

    Additional notes:
We have reviewed Tyler Alan's race also, mostly between L10 and L32 (when he quit). One steward's report summed it all:

    "SUMMARY OF T ALANíS OFF-TRACK INCIDENTS :
Tyler Alan ran off track 30 times in the 22 laps I checked. He ran off track in nearly every one of the 22 laps I checked. He ran a total of 32 laps.

In the vast majority of his off-track excursions he made unsafe re-entries. Most times, instead of blending into the track from the side, he went for the center of the track. If he was looking at the car on-track position display going for the middle of the track would be OK. Since he had numerous re-entries where he got unsafely in the way of other cars causing incidents, and he did so by not carefully blending in,
    CONCLUSION:
He clearly was not in control of his car for two-thirds of the race. He ran off-track way more than is acceptable and he had an excessive number of incidents.

If he had a damaged car he should have parked it. If he had a bad setup he should have parked it. If he didnít practice enough to learn the track he shouldnít have competed. If he was having a bad day he should have parked it. Full closure on race and protest penalties and disciplinary action on Tyler Alan:

    - DQ from Cordoba race results.
    - 1-Race Suspension from '74 Porsche IROC Series (R2 Goiania).
    - 2-Race Probation in 74 Porsche IROC Series (starting with R3).
    - 2-Race Probation in Formula A Series (starting with R4).

Note: Missed races will not count as probation period, driver has to be present and observed by stewards.
Repeat offenses in probation period will lead into more disciplinary action from RRC.

    Chief Steward Jon Uyan's Comment:
Tyler has been contacted twice during this review process to give him chance to explain his position, but I did not receive any reply. We take any disciplinary action against any member very seriously
and we go to a lengthy review process where number of stewards involved are more than just 2 that is a minimum requirement for any penalty decision making. We had total of 6 stewards (reviewers) involved in this race and protest
review. One of series admins also involved in providing information as per usual of the process. Our private forum is accessible by all chapter admins, ex-admins that are in important senior member position and the league president.
Our deliberations on incidents or driver behavior and penalty decisions are done under the observations of this body of members. Review Cmte. is a closed group but still as transparent as it can be. I feel I had to explain this for drivers
who may question the correctness of penalties.
