Default 1974 Porsche IROC (AMS) Series Details and Car Selection

In October 1973, twelve of the top drivers in the world were invited to compete in IROC, the International Race of Champions, an event penned by the legendary Roger Penske. The drivers were selected from the four major racing series at the time, Formula One, NASCAR, SCCA, and USAC, and included names such as Mark Donohue, George Follmer, A.J. Foyt, Richard Petty, and Bobby Unser. All were to drive the same car, as the goal of the event was to reduce variables such as the vehicle and its modifications and to put emphasis on the skill and race strategies for the drivers. Penske’s vehicle of choice was the Porsche 911 RSR.

Love this car over at Old Osterreichring* ('74 layout for a '74 car, naturally). One of the worlds great (now gone) circuits, and the best version too that I've seen in any sim, so what's not to like? But I keep wanting to grab the stick-shift that isn't there down and to the right...and my right foot wants to start braking again...<twitch>....

    [*Spielberg 74 GP in AMS]

Only one lap so far around Old Interlagos, and also great fun in the RSR.

It's getting about time to start quoting Lauda, methinks, as he had something to say about both tracks.

For those who struggle with setups here is a base setup for the RSR: https://www.dropbox.com/s/em81x4xyqb...-Base.svm?dl=0

As usual Porsche is not an easy car to drive. Got on R. Atlanta to try this AMS version and select the skin. Did the setup in 3 laps, just a base one to get going with the track specific setup.
