Spin Doctor Racing Unveils New Cars

Today Spin Doctor Racing is unveiling, publicly for the first time, the new cars now ready to race in the ILMS series. Previously, SDR drivers ran the Porsche GT3 cars but now drivers Scott Bennett, Jonathon Backof, and James Goldston have Porsche RS Spyders and Chevrolet Corvettes at their disposal as well.

The debut comes after several podium finishes from SDR drivers in both the endurance and sprint races. Drivers Backof and Bennett now have two 3rd place finishes under their belts in the endurance series, driving the Corvette, while both Bennett and Goldston have 1st in class finishes for the sprints. After feedback and input from all the drivers, sponsors were added, paint schemes were tweaked again and again, and the cars' designs were finalized.

The new paints, included in the skin pack released today by the ILMS officials, arrive just before driver James Goldston leaves for a one month hiatus to pursue work interests. Upon his return from his leave of absence, there are rumors of multiple SDR drivers entering the Spyder for the race at Paul Ricard . . .
