Install problem with Le Mans mod

My first download was only 184 MB of the noted 196 MB file size.I was missing the rfm folder on my first download and could not install the mod.I went back to the download site,and noticed the difference in the size of the file.downloaded the file a second time and the install was perfect.I just wanted to mention this to any other members who might have a problem with the installation.Check that the file size is 196 MB.

I've never been able to figure out why, but that particular FTP typically lists files as being slightly smaller than what the really are. The FTP lists the file size as 196 MB, but once you actually have it on your hard drive it's listed as 200 MB.

Sometimes it is due to the host FTP server being run on a FAT32 system HDD and the client on a NTFS system.It can also be caused by the type of compression used at both ends,for example 64bit compress ratios compared to 32bit.But after the files have been unzipped into a folder the sum of all the files should be exactly the same after deducting the size of the folder if empty.The correct way is to attach a checksum to the achive and if in dought run it through a checksum error checker.
But for just one archive most of us just download it and take pot luck.
