Awards Logo Contest

With the start of the "Pre-Season" here at CMS I would like to announce a contest for all you graphically inclined people out there to develop a Champion ILMS logo that we can laser engrave onto the trophies that will be awarded at the end of the season. Black and white only please.

IMO the logo needs to incorporate the existing Champion AND ILMS logos but be unique unto itself also. Since I have NO skill with graphics of any kind I thought I'd open it up for each of you so inclined to submit designs and the Admin group will choose some finalists and then we will open it up for a vote of the drivers as to the winner.

FYI.. we plan on awarding 23 trophies/awards at the end of the season.

Top 3 in points for each of the GT series Divisions
Top 3 in points for each ILMS Division
Most Improved Driver in each ILMS Division
and the Biggest and Baddest trophy will be, for lack of a better description at the moment, Mr. Congeniality. The most professional, most courteous, most "Champion Motorsports Minded" driver in the league. After all CMS is about Fun, Fellowship and Professionalism more so than it is about winning. So we thought it would be more appropriate for the most coveted award to be presented to the driver that most embodies the "CMS Spirit"

Tim Henson is to be commended for helping to develop this concept and will get his "experts" to assist in developing the awards program. In case you didn't know, Tim's company is the one that does all the NASCAR awards, so we're in "HIGH COTTON" boys.

So sharpen your digital pencils and get to work..... We have time to do this right but we need to get it started.

Glad you approve.. I think it will help encourage more drivers to participate for the "long haul" and not drop out if they blow a race or two.

LOL Been So Busy At Work and GMT.

We just released Putnam Park for R2Play Exclusive till Jan 1 and working on a single car mod for release soon.

Will see if I can put something together for you Mike!
