So where is everyone at so far? Im using a modified version of Troys setup from last week. Little bit lower for some more from DF - stretched out the gearing a smidge and i'm into the 46's. I believe i can see 45's if i push the setup as is.

So out of curiosity - what pace is everyone at so far?

I did a few laps the other day and was doing 48's, I felt like 46's and 47's would be where I needed to get ... - David

I have no idea how slow I am at Watkins Glen - I have been using the iRacing default fixed setup and it feel okay - better than Silverstone setup. I spent too much time with LMP - it's awesome vehicle (Devin caught me driving it on open practice session last night. hehe).

I am currently in Portsmouth, growing ever more sick of plowing through gravels traps and slamming into the armco every other lap.

    lol Troy - nice!

I'm actually having the hardest time through the esses and the right hander on the heel of the boot. Car feels great everywhere else. Not sure if I should try to make some aero adjustments to get more front grip or some mechanical adjustments. I feel if I lower it anymore I'm gonna be bottoming our pretty hard - which I think would be disaster with this car and how it pushes.

I finally got around to increasing the Brake Force Curve and the Sterring Lock. It helped, but it didn't exactly revolutionize the way the car feels. I' still struggling to complete a lap.

Funny thing, my three year old walked up while I was sitting in the pits and he said, "Dad, why is the car shaking like that?"

    Good question son...good question.

lol. When I first tried LMP at Suzuka track, the car was shaking - I was thinking "iRacing must be pulling bad joke on poor Japan because it felt like earthquake." Well, actually, I have sat in my car during earthquake before - it felt like someone is rocking your car, not same what you felt in iRacing.

My fast lap is a 1:48 flat, but my optimum is a 1:46.2, so as you can see, I'm real consistent.

Anyway, I don't think I'm going to put anymore time into the car until iRacing fixes the minimum tire pressure settings. As if a 30-40 degree spread in tire temps from the center out would be reasonable in a properly setup car.
