A safe way to improve you Safety Rating
Anyone who has participated in Rookie level races, especially on the ovals, knows first hand how devastating a single race can be to your Safety Rating. In my very race in the Rookie Legends, I finished with a whopping 14 incident points. None of which were my fault.
So be it.
So, what is the alternative? Well, driving in the advanced races is almost a must, but there is still yet another option. Time Trials. I've run 10 laps, 40 laps, and 90 lap incident free stints. The 10 lap stint got me +.01, the 40 lap stint, +.03, and the ninety lap stint +.06. Essentially, if you turn 90 incident free laps in the time trial, you gain the same about in SR as you would if you participated in a 40 lap race and incurred 2 incident points.
