Default Mixed class racing and Ford Falcon available next season!

...Some items to note are that Phillip Island and Zandvoort have been mixed into some of the road racing series, the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar will be introduced as a Class C car, and we have combined the Daytona Prototype and Radical into one mixed class series.

The new Pro schedule has been created with the Class B Impala being the oval car and the Daytona Prototype the road. We have also changed the last race of the DWC season to coincide with the Pro schedule and added Phillip Island and the soon to arrive Mid Ohio as well.

Nationwide mixed with Prototype on one road racing - it's going to be weird.

I ithink its saying impalla B is the new pro oval and the daytona is the road pro not both cars on the track at the same time. If thats the case yes that would be weird.
    Don't mess with the Hess

    Correct.

The only mixed class racing series is the Class B Prototype/Radical.

I wished they had not switched the Protypes to Wed, Fri, Sun...that's going to create a real issue for me.

Now that I think about it...I wonder why they didn't put the C6R and the DP together for the mixed class races?

I saw that and thought the same, only 2 things i could think of - The straight line speed differential being larger with the radical, that corvette really picks up its butt and flys in a straight line... Could make the overtaking a bit more tricky... The other thing is with the radical being a C class it gives lower license holders the chance to compete in multi-class (and also might bolster that particluar series)...debatable if that is a good thing regarding experience level etc... but i can't really talk - i'm currently in Class C, will be promoted soon, just haven't had the time to race the last couple of weeks to get the 4.0. Definietly looking forward to those multi-class events and the new V8 though.

Practice time is getting harder to find for me these days and to be honest i'm a bit disillusioned with some of the people on iRacing, so the mixed class and the V8 series here (thanks to those who organize all these events!) maybe all i really try to compete in....along with the ERL, and ILMS NA...
