    Default LM win at Milwakee

Wow my second latemodel win. Just as I was getting a little down about all the incidents I was in I found a clean race for me anyway. I had to slow way down for a lapper incident and the leader got a 7 second lead.

I was running a tire conservation race just trying to hit my marks and be consistent. I slowly reeled him in and on the last lap turn 3 he pushed it to hard and I had the inside all the way to the finish.

fast lap 31.906 average lap 32.239

Life isn't a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow what a ride."

Awesome race Mark! I haven't driven Milwaukee yet, are you using Rusty's setup or one of your own?

    Congrats.

Question for y'all: Are the late model races crash fests? haven't raced these i a while and was wondering if the racing was fun or plagued.

Not really - not as worse as Legends. Last night, I raced LM at Milwaukee Mile - there were 13 drivers and only 6 of us didn't crash. I don't know how was it in other race.

I used Rusty's setup off the forums. It can go a lot faster than I was driving.

I have a tweaked "Rusty" setup that I think is even better than his original. I posted a 31.384 in qualifying, added 15.1 gallons of fuel and ran a race average of 31.879, with a 31.547 fastest lap (That's quicker than my qualifying time of last season). The race setup does get a bit tight in the middle of the corner as the race goes on. However, I think a little more front stagger and one pound less of air pressure in the LF might fix that.

Remind me tonight at practice and I'll share it with you.

Can you give it to me, also? I might want to run LM at Miluwakee Mile one more time before the week ends.

It seems my fastest run with Rusty Greer's setup was 31.800's and that was during the race. My qualify run sucks - 32.116. lol

Sure...I may miss practice tonight, so I'll just post it here in a few minutes. Have to fire up my rig first.
