Late Model or Modified?
I am scheduled to get bumped up to D at the end of the month so I was looking at the the D oval cars and I can't make up my mind between the late model and SK modified. Which do you guys think? Which is more fun to drive? Better attended?

They are both fun to drive and you'll be able to find races in both. But there is no question the Late Model is one of the most popular cars on iRacing -- so you'll find larger fields and more splits in those races than in the Modified. I dont think you can go wrong either way ...

There are tons of Late Models races available, but the Modifieds run a limited schedule. They're both great fun to drive!

hmm
For attendance, definitely Late Model. Not sure why but it is much more popular, I'd say about 5:1 ratio, you'll find 1 mod driver for every 5 late model drivers.
however I am partial to the Modified, love the car and is the only car I drive consistently inside the service. If you decide to get serious about running the Modified, I may be able to help you out with some setups.

The SK Mod is my favourite car, but as David, Troy and Eric said, there are more Late Model races.
If you can affor it, i recommend you get both, the SK for some fun, and the Late Mod for getting your license up.

I haven't been driving the Modified recently, but I'm planning on committing to a full schedule next season.
