Jonathan Diclemente Storms to Victory at Summit in the Mustangs!

Jonathan Diclemente has really burst onto the scene in the Champion Motorsports Mustang Challenge this season. A late entry to the fun, he's only run 3 races, but has won 2 of the 3 that he's participated in, and this week was another very nice victory at Summit Point where Jon would win from the pole in quite impressive fashion by leading all 25 of the laps in the event.

While Jonathan was out front a great battle was played out on the tack between our two Championship Contenders, Devin Obrien and Charles Stout. It was rumored that Devin may have to miss this week's race in the forums, but at the last minute he showed up and it appeared he was ready with a solid qualifying run. He would race very closely with Charles and Kevin Savoie in a 3 car battle for the podium most of the race. Devin would end up securing the 2nd place in the event and really take a huge step forward in his chances to become the season champion.

With 2 races left, nothing is settled yet and anything can happen, so we will have to see how everything sorts out over the last two events.

Next week we will be at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama for some fun and then in the season finale on April 20th we will do a great race overseas at Spa!!!
