Thumbs up iRacing Daytona 500 being Rescheduled for Feb 20th

They have announced at iRacing that the Daytona 500 event will be rescheduled for next Saturday Feb 20th due to a technical issue that caused a lot of disconnects for participants last night. When the details come out on the reschedule I will post them here --- it looks like everyone that is interested will get the opportunity to run the race again.

the following is an e-mail I received regarding the Daytona problems.

    Dear Mark Golemboski,

Thank you for your participation in the iRacing Daytona 500 this past Saturday, February 13. A number of our members experienced some technical issues when trying to join the race. We apologize for this issue and value you as a member of iRacing. Along with our apologies, please find a code below good for $15 of iRacing credit. Each code is uniquely linked to your account and is therefore non-transferable. Simple instructions are listed below on how to enter the code and load the credit into your account.

    Good Racing!

I think this is a nice gesture on there behalf. They must have gotten quite a few complaints

Life isn't a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow what a ride."
