How do you import posted setups

How do you import posted setups? I am using windows 7 and as with Rfactor, until I ran RF as an administrator I could not find the setup folders, nor can I figure out how to run iRacing as an administrator.

This has held me back as I have found iRacing cars kinda stiff and didn't know where to start with setups of my own.

Im not sure how Administrator rights would affect it - but there should be a folder: My Documents - iRacing - Setups - [car type]

Just copy and paste into the appropriate car folder and you should be good to go. As long as you can navigate to those folders it should work. If they are not there and its some sort of Windows issue (admin rights etc) - i am not sure how to fix that.

But yes - default iRacing sets are quite stiff imo.

The setups that iRacing provided are just a based setup. Many iRacing members shared their setups at the iRacing forum. You can download them directly to the folder as Charles mentioned.

Are you having problem launching iRacing due to lack of administrator rights? Or you cannot download and save iRacing setup to the folder?
