Q: What will this do for me?
A: It will allow you to control all of the settings for a pit stop without the use of your keyboard. In other words, it allows you to set up your pit stops hands-free as well as control changing black boxes via voice commands... For example, you can hop between the standings black box and the relative black box by saying "Standings" or "Relative."
Q: Well, I can do all of that with a keyboard... why would I want to bother?
A: If you can't see the advantage of using this tool, as obvious as it is, you're right... please forget this exists. But, in all seriousness, it allows you to keep your hands on the wheel during one of the most dangerous times in a race. If you've found yourself spinning out while trying to set up your pit while entering the pits or while on the track, this is for you.

If the video gives you an error, check back later. It just completed uploading at 1AM EST on 8/10. Oh, and excuse any "mistakes"... I was in a hurry to get a video made before posting the script here so you guys could see it in action.
I will be adding new commands as I get to it.
I'm also converting a demo video for YouTube to be up shortly.

PEACE!
Quickie on how to get this working:
1. Download glovePIE: GlovePIEWithoutEmotiv043.zip
YOU take full responsibility for anything that may occur to your system as a result of glovePIE. You use this software and the script above at your own risk. Please be sure that you only use the version linked to above to avoid any issues.
2. Extract it to a folder on your computer.
3. Enable speech recognition on your computer. (see below)
4. Download my script above (iRacing_VoiceCommands) and place it in the VoiceScripts folder inside the folder you created for glovePIE
5. Run glovePIE
6. Load the script.
7. Click the "Run" button.
8. Join a session.
9. Use the commands.
NOTE: be sure to reset iRacing's controls to the DEFAULTS unless you want to go in and screw around with the script. Look at the attached RTF document to see which keys are used for the commands iRacing doesn't assign keys to by default and set those manually.

TO ENABLE SPEECH RECOGNITION (IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY):
VISTA and Win7, just do the following:
Start>Control Panel>Ease of Access>Speech Recognition
It should now be self explanatory on what to do. Just set up voice recognition from that window and you should be good to go.
Very cool - I'm going to have to check that out. The need to manually navigate the black boxes to set commands for pit strategy has always been one of the most cumbersome parts of the whole iRacing experience, so hopefully this will be a good substitute for that.
Reminds me of Game Commander, too! I was never quite able to get that fully working back in the day (played mostly flight sims back then), but this definitely has some promise.
