The ONLY question I have is, "Can it can compete against the C6R?" If so, my eventually get the very first mixed model class at iRacing...and that would be very cool!

Reading some of the forum posts over at iRacing, it doesn't appear that the Mustang will have similar performance characteristics as the Vette.

Too bad...a true GT class with multiple models would be cool.

They looked really cool but were sooooo slow.

Speed World Challenge has several mustangs who are not only competitive but I believe was driven by the overall points winner last season.

Obviously this is a lower HP series (around 500ish based on car model).

In addition to the World Challenge Mustangs, there is the Mustang Challenge Series and of course the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (Grand-Am support series) The Mustangs have made great strides over the last year and are doing quite well, with 1st & 2nd place finishes at Daytona and Barber.
