    Default First oval win...

in the Advanced Legends. I started from pole and led all forty laps at South Boston. The field was relatively weak and I was never challenged for the lead, but the best part, aside from the win of course, was that it was my first oval race without a single incident! Woohoo! I was real happy to get a +.10 bump to my Safety Rating. In between races I've been driving the full :30 minute Time Trial distance and I've added and additional +.07 to my SR each time. I'm getting very close to the magic 4.0 SR. My SR is currently 3.83, so another race and a couple of time trials should do the trick.

Now that I have my first oval win under my belt, I wonder if I'll get another one of those fancy schmancy certificates from Mr. Henry?

Yep, you get a certificate for your first oval and road win Troy.
I have found that even if you have a horrible stretch and your SR takes a hit, it will all even out. If you are a clean driver, you will have no problems keeping your SR up over time. It may dip with some bad luck, but it will come back up. Now if you are a train wreck, then it may go low and stay there. I think the system is pretty good over the long haul.
