1st truck win!.........................finally!!

Last friday i ran 3 consecutive truck races at Lowes. Got wrecked out of 2nd and 5th in the first two races. In the third i had a great truck and was reeling in the leader fast. On the 93rd lap he gets loose coming out of 4(again) and has i go to pass for an easy win he loses it and takes me out


So i spent this past weekend not racing and enjoying my family. Well on monday i felt like getting kicked in the teeth again so at the next to last race at Lowes I started on the pole, led the first 40 laps and was easily the best truck there. Then after a couple of quick yellows I find myself in 5th and was set to "carefully" assume my rightful place. Long story longer, I was leading when a late yellow came out and I stay out while everyone behind me pits for tires. So with 5 to go we take the green and these guys get a run on me down the backstretch. I drive it in harder than i had all race. I managed to stay side by side for a lap then coming out of 4 (Again) the guy on the inside loses it and takes out the rest of the top 5 ............EXCEPT for me.

I joined iRacing for the roadies but I am really digging these ovals. I hope to see you guys here real soon. Cheers

Congrats Scott!! I joined iRacing for the ovals but I am racing more roadies for the reasons you posted above. Seems like every race someone is driving way over their head either on the first lap or the last lap.

The road racing at iRacing is really good for the most part.

Nice one Scott! The trucks are a lot of fun when you get a good group together. I'm really looking forward to leagues in iRacing.
