David, or anyone else for that matter...I have a question.
For a couple of months now, my system has been a dual-boot system to go between the original install of Windows XP, and the new install of Vista. I love Vista, but unfortunately there are still some applications that won't run in Vista just yet, and until such time that they can, I just reboot into XP and use them there.
Then I ran across Microsoft Virtual PC 2007
This gave me a great idea, where I could quit rebooting back and forth and instead open up a Virtual XP and work there within Vista!! It's a great application, but I have the following thought on how to implement it.
Today, I tried to create a new virtual drive for the XP install, and ran the XP installation program...but it kept locking up. So, it made me wonder...can I take the drive (or partition) that I'm currently using for XP and turn it into a virtual drive for Virtual PC to use?
Also, if you haven't checked it out for yourself, it's an awesome program for running anything from MS-DOS, to Linux, Windows 95 and whatever from within your current OS.
