Tim Collier Wins "Car of Tomorrow" Stock Car Race at Fontana, California

Congratulations to Tim Collier for winning the Champion Fun Series Car of Tomorrow Stock Car Event tonight at Fontana (pictured above). He would win from the pole, and hold off Team Mate David Anderson, and Ricky Proffer to get the victory. The scheduled race of 65 laps actually went a couple of extra when the drivers had to finish on a green, white, checkered at the end -- due to a late race caution. Fontana proved to be a fun track with lots of good and close racing for the lead. Four different drivers would lead the race, but in the end Tim had the strongest car, and was able to hold off the field for a very nice win!
Coming to the line for 2nd place it was very close as Ricky Proffer made a great last lap run at David Anderson, but Anderson would hold him off by keeping his car high coming off turn 4.

The plan for the Champion Fun Series is to run one more race in TPSCC '08 Mod before making the transition to our 10 race ARCA Sim Racing Schedule. So, we'll see everyone on the track next week! :)
