Dwayne Jans and Henry Hudson are our Essington Winners!

Congratulations to Dwayne Jans for his overall win, and GT-1 Class victory last night at our Essington ILMS Pre Season Race. Dwayne was the man to beat all night and was never seriously contested for the victory. He would take the Hotwheels Corvette to Victory Lane in a very nice and impressive win. Dwayne also had the pole position in the race. He would lead the Virginia Motorsports Duo of Bob Dunlop and Robert Harrison who would finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively in their Saleen's. In the GT-2 Class, Champion Motorsports driver and long time founding member of the community Henry Hudson would take the victory. It was a sweet win as Henry has been on a break from racing reguarly and has returned in style with a very nice win. Henry would lead 13 other GT-2 class cars in a very competitive race. In the end he would finish in P1 ahead of his teammate Tim Collier in P2, with Wes Tribble in P3. Here is a picture of Henry as the sun goes down, in his Porshce GT-3.
