We would like to congratulate Champion Motorsports Driver David Anderson for his 7th place finish at the Race2Play.Com Indianapolis 500 Event. David would enter the event a couple of weeks ago and begin working on a qualifying setup with the help of teammate and long time friend Tim Collier. The setup was enough to qualify David in the top 33 for the race with a 23rd place start. He would work his way up throughout the event and make a late race pass of Patrick Armand to secure the 7th place finish.

David was quoted with the following after the race. "I had a great time in this event and my finish exceeded the expectations. I had hoped for a finish as well as a top 15, and to be able to run 7th was a nice treat and made the preperation for the race worth it. I owe a big thanks to Tim Collier for his help on the setup. Tim helped me take a full half second off the lap times to get the car securely in the show. I am very grateful for his expertise and experience, and it really paid off. As far as the race goes, I was a bit conservative on the race setup and as a result didn't have the speed to run up front with the leaders. I got too concerned with the engine life. I was able to have a nice run though with several other drivers around me during the event; especially Patrick Armand. Thanks to Patrick for a clean race, it was enjoyable and I was happy to get by him at the end for the position. I look forward to being in the event again next year. I have enjoyed being a part of the Race2Play community and would recommend it for anyone that is looking to run a variety of sims online in a competition based atmosphere."
