Neal Johnson Victorious at the highly technical circuit of Magny Cours!



Neal Johnson took the pole, victory, and led 40 of the 54 laps at this highly technical circuit of Magny Cours. On the start Neal led the pack into the high speed complex of turns 1,2,and 3, but as the pack hit the ultra tight hairpin at the end of the long back straight there was a bit of chaos which allowed Drew McLean to emerge in P1 before the completion of lap 1.





Drew had pulled out a small gap on Neal, but a few laps later he caught a bit too much of the outside curb in the 2nd chicane and went into a spin allowing Neal to resume the leed which he would ultimately convert to another victory in the GTC series. Filling out the rest of the podium were Drew Mclean 2nd, and Brian Farmer 3rd.
