Fight or Flight? ... Kris Hudson (Corvette C6-RGT) and Tom Cinnamon (Porsche 997) dominate over their fellow racers at Road America with their respective GT & GTC class win. Of the 29 CMS drivers who started this epic race, only 20 experienced the checkered flag in the end.

Fight: Outraged that he could not reel in K. Hundson Design Racing in the final laps of the race, JT Tami took his Champion Racing F430 GT to its absolute limit for second place. The ever elusive Hein Houweling of H. Houweling Racing took 3rd with his extremely quick Porsche 997 GT3. "There were some near misses on the track, but this is racing and each driver is pushing themselves into the red-zone", explained Hein, "but its the ones who are clean and consistent that will win the gold in the end".
"Why did my Ferrari fail me, I don't know!", exclaimed JT Tami, "Before each race I speak to her and wax her body, but no, she turns around and behaves like a Sicilian mule!". The other 2 Ferrari racers were equally unhappy. "I drink the best wine and eat the stinky cheese, yet my Ferrari drives me into a sand trap so that I can play in it like a child where only shame-shame is performed!", lamented Brian Farmer who lost his battled against a fellow Ferrari racer who has since learned to keep his trapp shut.
Flight: Paul Hamilton (2nd in class for Miskatonic Motorsports 997 Porsche GTC) and Joe Owens (3rd in class for Team UK 997 Porsche GTC), "took the fight" approach in dealing with the Cinnamons who single-handedly caused a mass exodus of racers from the GTC into the GT class for Season 2.

One of the premier GTC drivers, who wishes to remain anonymous, was quoted saying "The Cinnamons caused us to re-assess our racing strategy and the expectations placed upon us by our sponsors. We realized that in order for us to be competitive at CMS, we must race in the GT class for the sake of keeping our paychecks. Most of sponsors were sick and tired of seeing a shadow cast upon there product advertisements each time a Cinnamon lapped one of our GTC cars. It sickens me that we have to stoop to such levels to remain competitive, but our GTC teams are tormented by the thought of racing against the Cinnamon's for Season 2.". In response, the team captain for Uranus Racing made a public announcement that, "Team Uranus is putting its best arse forward, commissioning its top racer, Tom Cinnamon, to be our GTC car-setup liaison with all other GTC team drivers. He will assist them with their Porsche setups and racing strategy.".
There was a roar of jubilee and relief by all previous GTC teams ... new contracts were being rewritten within minutes of Team Uranus' announcement!
The team was asked why are they helping their competition get better? "We found that our team's GTC drivers were able to keep up with most of the bigger engine GT cars at Road America. Our hearts broke when we witnessed the sobbing and humiliation of half the GTC squad last season that succumbed to the Cinnamon's and the Uranus Doppler effect. This just broke our hearts, so our move to charity is to rebuild CMS' GTC league to its former glory".

"These tin boxes are beautiful to drive around the tricky curves and track undulations that CMS chooses for each league race", boasted Phil Elmore, "but remember, we are not called the "blood-bucket-brigade" for nothing. We drive looking in our rear view mirrors as much as we do through our windshield. So if you are not man enough, don't race them!"
