Race Report Nurburgring | 2010 ILMS S.2| 4-Class
Mike Tribble (Pescarolo Mazda) in the P2 category wins preseason race for Season 2 of 2010 ILMS North America!
No points were awarded for this preseason race, but that doesn't mean that the competition wasn't fierce from the beginning. Mike Tribble brings home the win for the P2 category, with Chris Hamilton pulling in 2nd with his Acura ARX-01B and Paul Hamilton wrapping up 3rd place with a very fast Dome S101J.
Devin Obrien showed some definite speed in his P2 Acura ARX-01B before he was called back into the pits with radio communication issues. Scott Clark led for most of the race in his P1 Prescarolo Judd before having to pit for a quick splash of fuel with only laps left in the racing, dropping his position from 1st to 2nd place in class.
In the GT category, there was some clean but adrenaline-pumping warfare between most of the GT racers. James Sharkus wins 1st place in his Porsche 997 GT3, with 2nd place going to Kevin Wood , as he showed off his beautiful Aston Martin Vantage. Tanner Berry finishes with his 3rd place podium finish, as his Ford GT is one car to be taken seriously this year.
The grid lineup will most likely double in size as we go into the grand opener for Season 2 next week. Flex your muscles and mind, as the fun is definitely about to begin at CMS!
