It was another good team effort this week as six Press on! Rallysport drivers hit the stages in France, Belgium, and Spain.

Bryan and Bret both competed in the Rallye de Bésse-sur-Braye, not far from Le Mans. Though rain was imminent, it held off until the end of the event. Both of our guys did well on the fast and flowing tarmac stages, with Bryan finishing 3rd in class N4 and Bret 4th in N1. They also topped the team points chart, with Bryan breaking the elusive century mark.

Rick took on the second France Cup event on offer this week – the Rallye Gap Racing. Unfortunately, his Impreza encountered an immovable object on SS3, resulting in terminal damage. At Rick's insistence, the guys patched the car back up at service so he could drive the final stage, but the earlier retirement meant the end result was a DNF.

Steven and Jerry spent a soggy week at the Bianchi Rally in Belgium. Rain bucketed down the entire first leg of the rally, and the wet tarmac and darkness made for difficult conditions and high attrition. The next day things finally started to dry out, but the high-speed stages made for a new set of challenges. Both Steven and Jerry had a few mishaps, but made it to the finish in pretty good shape. Steven finished 48th overall and 6th in N3. Jerry brought his Citroën Xsara WRC home close behind, finishing 13th in the top A8W class and 57th overall. Steven also solidified his 2nd position in the Rallyesim Fiesta Cup, though it is a very distant 2nd indeed!

As we noted in last week's summary, Aaron headed directly from Portugal to Catalunya to “get a jump on the recce” for this week's Rally Cervera. With only 8 special stages on tap, we knew what he was really after was a bit of R&R in Barcelona. (Aah, if only this were real instead of virtual rally!) Anyway, Aaron might have had a little too much virtual relaxation, as a few lapses of attention cost him some time. Still, he finished a very respectable 6th in class N1 in his trusty Peugeot 205 Rallye.

For the week we managed a very nice 14th in points, maintaining 25th for the year and gaining a little on Hexis Racing School. This week marks the height of the Summer doldrums in the RSRBR championships, with only three rallies and one hillclimb on offer. PoR never sleeps though, and we have at least one driver in each of them – so, tune in next week!
