PoR Week 44 and 45 Results - fighting for every point

As the Rallyesim championship season winds down, the rallies are beginning to dwindle in number. With more competitors packed into fewer events, every point gained is a point well earned.



Over the past two weeks, Press on! Rallysport drivers have turned in several strong results, led by Aaron and Bryan with a pair of class podiums in the Rallye CCR Costa Brava.

We've also closed out a couple of championships for the year. Despite a slow start in the France Gravel Championships, Steven finished 3rd in the Rallye Terre de Vaucluse to secure 3rd place for the year in class R2. In the France Hillclimb Cup, Bryan posted numerous high finishes on his way to 5th in class N4. He also qualified for the Cup finals in Week 48.

The end of the season is also a good time to try out a few new things as we look ahead to a rapidly approaching 2011 season. Rick has been eyeing some of the two wheel drive cars in the shop lately, even taking Steven's 207 R3T for a test spin on our back lot. After that audition, we thought it might be better to rent him a 2WD ride first. So, we set him up with an Opel Corsa S1600 in his favorite colors. Aaron has been headed in the other direction the past few weeks, trying out an AWD N4 Prodrive Impreza. And Justin and Steven have been dabbling with the Peugeot 207 S2000.

We've pretty well secured our spot in the top half of the stable standings for the year, having passed Rallye-Normand.com a few weeks ago. We've also welcomed Martin Koehler to the team, and he's devouring stage miles in preparation for next year.
