PoR Week 36 - The Captain hooks a big one!
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video must be worth...well, I'm not sure really - especially with Dollar/Loonie/Peso/Euro exchange rates and all. But anyway, we'll let the videos do the talking this week.

Rick and Bret were back on France Cup trail at the damp and foggy Rallye du Béthunois in northern France. Both guys slogged their way through it and finished 8th in their classes. Cap'n Rick netted a hefty haul of 172 points to lead the stable for the week!

Justin continued his run through the Hillclimb Cup circuit, which hit the Course de côte de Limonest Mount Verdun this week. Damp conditions prevailed here as well, but Justin attacked the hill in his A8 class Evo IX on his way to an outstanding 28th place overall!

Steven and Jerry stayed close to home this week, competing in the Omloop van Vlaanderen (sounds cooler than Tour of Flanders), the penultimate round of the Belgian Championship. Very changeable weather conditions gave way to sunshine on the third day of the rally, and our guys made the most of it. Both finished in the top 40 overall, with Jerry 34th and Steven 38th. Steven holds 2nd place in the Ford Fiesta Rallyesim Trophy by a slim 3 point margin going into the final round.

Our strength is our consistency, and that has really showed the last several weeks with very few DNFs and continuous improvement in placings. Not so long ago, we were all shooting for top 10 in class, now that's just become the norm. As a team we're still in 25th place, but we continue to outscore our closest competitors each week. Congrats to all and good luck this week!
