Neal Johnson wins World division GT Challenge at Road One!
Neal Johnson carves another notch in his belt at Road One!

After the tight, twisty, technical, off camber roller coaster that was Autopolis, the CMS LMS World division got the opportunity to really stretch it's leggs today in the GT challenge event at Road One.

Starting from what has become his own personal grid spot "the pole" Johnson would set fast lap, lead the most laps, take the overall and LMPC class win. At the end of the 1st 15 min of qualli there was a tiny .001 gap between Johnson and Team Barista's Brian Farmer, but in the closing moments of qualli Neal went out and claimed pole by over a full sec.
In the race Neal was pulling a steady .500 per lap away from Farmer, but just before Farmers 1st stop he had managed to stop the bleeding and was maintaning about a 15 sec gap to Neal. Farmers only hope was to put in a few blazing laps durring Neal's stop and try to close that gap a bit. This was not to be, as Neal timed his stop perfectly and just when Farmer needed to put in those blazing laps he came upon some battling GTC's engaged in their own fight and so it was not to be. His only hope now was for Neal to make a mistake which of course was not going to happen. This guy is off to an amazing season so far.
In GT Team Arctic's Scott Clark also continued his winning ways taking the win with a flawless drive followed home by Val Hoggard in another impressive rookie drive, with Maximark Bradshaw grabbing the final spot in 3rd.

Back in GTC Team DDP had another impressive run this season with it's drivers taking 2 of the 3 podium spots. Topping the podium was Team DDP's Paul Hamilton, finishing 2nd was Drunkin Squirrel Racings James Sharkus, with the final spot going to Martin Koehler.
