Magny Cours | 2010 ILMS S.2| 4-Class
Napoleon has been defeated at Magny Cours ... Kris Hudson (Acura ARX-02A) crowns himself as the new emperor of CMS. Dwayne Jans (Acura ARX-01B) is promoted to field general with his P2 win, proving that an intelligent sniper can be just as dangerous as the artillery man's cannon. Taking home 1st in class, Scott Clark (Ford GT) leads his battered troops back home after fighting well in the GT trenches.

Second place P2 finisher, Mike Tribble (Pescarlo Mazda) and 3rd place finisher, Dave Slee (Pescarolo Mazda), were pulling in some impressive lap times at the beginning of the race, rivaling that of the P1 drivers with their fluid and aggressive racing technique that was being displayed in its full grandeur.
A brilliant performance was put in by Philip Brown (Lola Judd EX264), finishing 3rd in the P1 class with his Lola Judd EX264, surprising the generals who allowed him to step outside of the CMS intelligence bunker and onto the battlefield. They wanted to see what kind of "fight" was in Philip, but mon Dieu, they had no idea that he would step off the trauma-train with a podium finish in hand. The true battle was found in the GT class with James Sharkus (Porsche 997 GT3) declaring that "real warriors return from the dead-zone with blood on their hands", garnering a 2nd place finish behind Scott. After Magny Cours, the tin-tops have been renamed the "Blood Bucket Brigade", as the fighting was fierce and relentless. David Anderson (Porsche 997 GT3) received two separate shrapnel injuries going into T1, but still hangs in there to finish 3rd in class, bravo David!

A battlefield memorial was dismantled shortly after the race for Tanner Berry, Max Bradshaw, Rob Berry and Paul Hamilton, as all were thought to have been killed by a stray mortar while napping, but luckily they were found recovering at a French infirmary, with bi-lingual nurses tending to their wounds and pride. The true Purple Heart goes to Devin Obrien (Acura ARX-01B), as his ferocious counter attacks against Dwayne ended his race prematurely when he sustained horrible suspension damage. Many of the top CMS fighters will return, as they were absent on furlough, well rested ... but watch out, the battle-hardened fighters with whom they rejoin finds no respite in R&R.
