The Champion Motorsports Weds Night iRacing Grand Am Series is really starting to heat up in the area of the points battle after 5 races. In recent seasons Devin Obrien and Charles Stout have been battling hard for position atop the standings and that is proving to be no different this season as Charles seems to have gotten over the hump in full to take the last two wins in the series at Daytona and the previous week at Mosport. Both very high speed tracks where he showed that making the fewest mistakes along with a great pace would be the key to winning. Through the 5 races so far in the season both Devin and Charles each have two wins, and Robert Woloschuk has a win as well taking the week two race at Sebring Night.

Through the first 5 events we now see Charles Stout holding a 9 point lead over Devin OBrien, with John Hyatt only 24 back of the leader in 3rd place. We would also like to welcome back Troy Dalton to the series after a break as well as CMS long time driver and new iRacer Dave Slee.

We have a fantastic remaining schedule in place with seven events beginning this coming Weds Night at Spa. We will then be continuing at upcoming races including Mid Ohio, Road America, Watkins Glen and others.
