Making is second win in a row, Christian Oquendo has vaulted into the top spot in the Championship battle for the CMS iRacing Sportscar Challenge Series. Congrats to Christian for his win this week at Laguna Seca, as he has shown he's the man to beat in the Corvette C6R GT.



The Championship at this point is shaping up to be a 3 man battle, with Oquendo now holding a narrow 15 point lead over Kris Hudson and Steven Clark in 3rd only 16 points back. Wes Tribble and John Hyatt are in the 4th and 5th positions.

We have one more race in the Corvette this coming Weds at Road Atlanta, and then we will be turning our attention to the Honda LMP2 car for the final four races of the season. So, the driver that comes out on top in this unique Championship is going to definitely show a skill for commanding each of the three cars we've run in the series.
