Bryan Heitkotter and Aaron DeMarre lead PoR in Week 16
Bryan Heitkotter and Aaron DeMarre led a small group of PoR drivers as real life intervened in week 16.
Four Press on! Rallysport drivers took on Week 16 of the Rallyesim Online Championships. Things were a little light this week as several of our members were occupied with work, exams, cruising the Caribbean, and real-life rallying.

Bryan Heitkotter led the points, stepping away from the hill climb circuit to tackle the Rallye de Quercy of the France Cup. Bryan drove his N4 Subaru Impreza N14 to 78th overall and 10th in class. 402 drivers started the event.
Aaron DeMarre continues to impress in the N1 class, this week at the third round of the MRC Championship in Madagascar. Other than an incident with a rock that caused a spin, and one off-road excursion, Aaron ran a clean and steady rally. He finished 109th overall and 4th in N1, behind two other 205s and a VW Polo.

Alex Kihurani, who was also competing for PoR in Madagascar, was called away at the last minute to his real-life codriver duties. He and driver Joseph Burke finished 9th overall and 5th in the Super Production class in the Olympus Rally in Washington State. Alex and Aaron also had a chance to meet in the service park during the rally.

Steven Spears competed in the 6th round of the Belgian Championship at the Rallye de Wallonie. He set a steady pace throughout the rally, which featured uncharacteristically good weather. The only glitch was a potentially disastrous incident with a tree on SS16 left him with a battered car and a bonnet up against the windscreen. Some hard braking was required to get it down, and it stayed that way, despite flapping menacingly for the rest of the stage. In the end, Steven finished 60th overall, 7th in the N3 class, and 4th among the Rallyesim Fiesta ST Trophy contenders. He remains 4th in the Trophy standings for the year as well.

The stable scored 186 points for the week, which ranked 34th. We remain in 29th place overall, where we've been for the past six weeks.

Next week is another limited one for Press on! Rallysport, with four drivers competing in four different rallies. Alex will be in the Canary Islands for the next round of the IRC Championships, and Aaron competes in the Rali de Portugal. Steven will take on the second round of the French Gravel Championships, and Bryan will drive his Impreza in the Ronde de la Durance of the France Cup.
