After 90 minutes of furious racing, Indianapolis crowns McLean king! An incredible fight between two of CMS' most talented racers. 59 laps of snaking through difficult traffic took it's toll as Stephen King's finesse could not match the brute horsepower of Drew McLean's GT on the front straights. A valiant effort was made toward the end of the race by Kris Hudson who stormed back to third in his beautiful Aston Martin Vantage. Not to be denied another victory, Kevin Cinnamon danced his Porsche gracefully around each turn, claiming 1st for the GTC class with a most excellent podium finish by Kevin Wood for 2nd. James Sharkus pulled off a miracle by driving his ill-tuned Porsche into 3rd place, shaming his team engineers who configured his car w/a 4 hr. endurance package! After the race, Jim Counter and Russ Standage were found walking the track hand-in-hand, sobbing. Toward the chicanes, the walked off the track, joining Ortiz, Slee and Obrien for a pint of beer and some buffalo wings. Life was good again.
