• Mark Bell wins the CMS Radical SR8 Forza Motorsport 4 Race

Congratulations to Mark Bell for winning again in our Forza Motorsport 4 special event races, this time in our 2nd event at Road Atlanta where we did a spec race with the Radical Sportscar SR8. The car was fast, and challenging and Mark drove it very well for the win! Here is a great screenshot from the race start with Mark leading the field.

We are hoping to schedule another special event soon for Forza 4 and want to congratulate all of the drivers that participated last night in the race, and especially our top 5 finishers. We had a total of 10 drivers in the 45 minute race with one mandatory pit stop and it was great to see the interest for the Forza 4 Race here at CMS!

Thanks Smokee! I was quite challenging to keep the Radical going straight. Perhaps my Speedracer inspired livery was inspiration. And like the previous race, I had someone breathing down my neck almost every lap of the race. Anyone who says trying to maintain a gap is without pressure, isn't doing it in a Radical. Toomuchmoney had me sweating bullets for about 25 minutes of this race.

After I made a mistake and lost half the lead I'd gained in the first 10 minutes, I never had an opening gap again. It was great pressure to watch the rubber band effect around the track between Toomuchmoney and I. I'm curious to know what our laptime comparison looked like. Cause honestly I think Toomuchmoney might have the fastest lap honors.

By the way, I think Toomuchmoney still holds the top leaderboard laptime among us. While developing my race setup for this event I was competing against his laptime set in the leaderboards, I recall getting really close up towards the day of, but don't think I actually beat it. I believe my best was a 1'18.702, and his was a 1'18.4xx I think. Haven't checked since the day before yesterday, so I don't recall exactly.
