• Forza 4 Historic Trans-Am Series: Race 5 Results, Recap, Stories

    Round 5 of the Forza 4 Historic Trans Am series hit Road Atlanta on Saturday, with the long straight and tight chicanes proving a challenge only surpassed by the challenged imposed by the dreaded lag monster. The fast group was hit the hardest with lots of contact due to warping cars right out of the gate.

    When it was all said and done Scott Brizinski was able to take home another win, his third win in the series, as he proves that he is the man to beat once again. Scott's gap of almost 12 seconds was larger than any other gap in the field, running consistently low lap times the entire race. Chad harp took second place, his highest finish of the series. In third place was Mark Bell, who's car change for this race looked to be the right decision, as he piloted it to the podium.

    In the points race, the order of the top 2 looks the same, however Scott's win gave him a bit of breathing room. His 57 points put him 10 points ahead of 2nd place Mike Waltz, who has 47 points. Third in the points is Ryan Smith with 36 points.

    4th place in the points race is now Chad Harp with 31 points an 5th is Mark Bell with 28 points. Both drivers were able to take advantage of their strong finishes and leapfrog Campbell Troy in the points standings, who is now in 6th.

    Next week the series visits the Brickyard as the Trans Ams tackle the roval of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's GP course. See you then!

      HAHA I am not sure about that, pretty much everyone was heavily damaged, figured it was from lag related incidents.

      From the looks of the pics it looked really intense, I swear I don't remember the car flipping in the air, but I'm guessing that's probably what scratched my roof haha.
