• CMS Historics Season with rFactor HistorX Mod back on the Track in 2012

    The Champion Motorsports Historics Division is getting back underway for 2012, and we started our racing this past Monday, February 13th, with a pre-season test race at Westwood in Canada. It was a nice start to the season with a good field of drivers taking part in the race. Here is a Photo Album of some of the action from the race, and a great look at the beautiful Historic Trans-Am cars we are using for the series.



    It was good to do a pre-season test race as we learned some valuable lessons about race fuel mileage and other items. We are making some slight adjustments to race distance for the start of the season in a little less than 2 weeks. We will be going to a 60 minute race with no required pit stop to allow drivers to focus on taming and driving these beautiful yet challenging historic cars. More information on the start of the season will be coming soon, and here is the link to the replay and results from the test which saw last season's Champion Gabriel Zamponi, pickup right where he left off with another great run and the win at Westwood!
