Me too. I think this could be pretty fun -- browser based and driven by the online community.

not sure, but is the one over at usga.com using the same "engine?" it, too seems to be browser based and there's not a whole lotta loading to put up with. i've been tinkering with it to get a low score on the open setup (bethpage black) 'cause there's a chance that they're gonna take the top scores and have a small tourney and the winner gets to play pebble beach at next year's open with the three celebrities. i'm a little miffed, though, cause it seems the dolt they stick you with can only carry the driver about 200 yards. some of the par 3's are longer than that! plus, 200 yards won't reach the start of some of the fairways! dammit, where's my upgrade?

My family are not big golf fans, but after getting the Wii we enjoyed the golf game in Wii sports so got the Tiger Woods golf and have really enjoyed it. We even have nights where we just play golf, which is saying something given my wife is NOT a gamer.

They just came out with a wii-mote attachment that adds a gyroscope for much better motion sensing, and the new Tiger Woods works with the new add-on. I've seen people say its as close to real-golf as it gets without one of those mega-expensive setups. I think I'll be getting it soon.

Anyway if you like golf games, I highly recommend the Wii Tiger Woods.

I know alot of people don't like these web based games like iRacing and this new Tiger Woods but it is pretty cool getting to sit down at my desk at work and play a couple of holes without having to install anything.
