I really hope they produce a game that is adaptable to online racing enthusiast, and is not just bling factor.
I was heavily anticipating Forza 2 and was let down, buy the feel that they rushed the game to meet a date set by someone other then Turn 10. After the team started to drop more and more game features, it was apparent that they were dropping the features that must sim racers wanted, and not correcting the ones that plagued the first game, in order to meet a deadline. Then the moment people started to express their fears that this was going to take a franchise that was ahead of its time, back to square one, the PR team from Turn 10 turned their backs on the people that still played the original game. Then when anyone started too publicly (after multiple attempts to message team members) voice a concern the artists and drifters, whom pretty much got what they wanted would openly attack the sim racers on the Turn 10 forums. And to top it all off Che the Turn 10 (forzamotorsports.net) front man would be right with these guys. Not in my book is this the way to treat your fans. Either way, I really hope that Turn 10 can produce a game worthy of the original Forza for those that are unable to step up to the PC sim world.
I have to add that yes I played Forza 2 a lot, but this is because I had no other choice for this style of game on the Xbox, but at this time if I pick up Forza 3 it will probably be a novelty item much like Race Pro was for me.
