Devin, I did some testing tonight and noticed the same thing you reported with the faster A and Pro cars -- I need to dial in my wheel settings too. I am suring the MS force feedback wheel. Check out this thread I found which seems like it has some good tips.

I put a small sponge underneath my brake pedal and that helps some, but still needs some work.

Thanks, Dave. That SRT event looks cool. Just have to make sure I'll be around as that is Superbowl Sunday (game not till 6pm).

That settings thread looks like it is specifically for the MS wheel but those are about the settings I use for the Fanatec (minus the dead zones for brake and throttle).

If enough of us had Forza, it would be fun to do some performance rating restricted racing among us.

I think I am definitely going to run the race at Sedona next Saturday if I can Devin -- hope you can join too -- I am off the pace right now in my car, running a Nissan Fair Lady Z 2003 -- and best is a 2:35.xxx a few guys were going around 2:30.xxx but have done a lot of tuning. I am just scratching the surface with Forza right now so I am learning as I go. Here is a pic of the car I am working with ... and by the way I am loving Forza 3, it's a rich sim for sure -- very addictive ...

Dave, you probably know this, but as far as tuning, you pretty much want to go for weight reduction first. It helps handling, acceleration, speed all in 1 bang.

I haven't raced online yet in FM3, but I may see if I can find pace if its not too late to enter that race.

Also: I found a "secret" to keeping the faster cars on the track. Upgrading to race tires makes a HUGE difference in the drivability of the torque monsters. Add in some downforce and proper throttle control and its a pretty nice drive. I think what threw me off so badly is that most sims [i]start[\i] with race tires whereas FM3 starts with stock tires. I'm pretty impressed with thy FM3 physics overall.
