I just got it for the PC this weekend. Only had a chance to play the first section, since I'm REALLY out of practice with FPS games. (maybe I should take my wheel off the desk while I'm playing so I don't have to reach over it to get to the keyboard! lol)

Looks and runs great though, even on my not so up-to-date PC.

I finished upgrading my son's computer Saturday evening, and he installed CoD4 on it and started playing....it looks incredible!!!

Now here's the sad part...

He finished the single-player campaign last night

Yeah, the single player game is about half as long as most FPS games, but it's very well done from what I've seen so far. It's fun to play online, but the last time I played a shooter online, I got tired of getting my #$%^ kicked by 12 year old hyped up on Mt. Dew!! (how do these guys hit you with a head shot every two seconds even before I can get my target close to them! lol).

I hear ya John. My kill to death ratio online with the 360 version is about .40. I have good streaks here and there but I can't believe how I get shot before I can even raise my gun!! Still fun though.
