A new free, fun FPS. Graphics are cartoony, and so is the gameplay, but if you go in looking for fun over realism its cool.

The idea is you play for free and slowly gain stuff for your character, but you can buy things for your characters (with real $$) if you want. The stuff is both purely visual (clothes, headgear, etc) and functional (weapons, heals, etc), but the server seemed to be a good job matching people of your power level as while I suck at FPS I never seemed to be getting chewed up by people with uber-gear. One guy did irk me because he had bought clothes that made him be wearing a nothing but whitey-tighteys and cartoon Snidley Whiplash-like head...everytime someone kills you you get a graphic of his character and he was a good player so I got to see him too often.

My first character is a Gunner on Royals. The Royals are like cartoon British, and the Nationals are like cartoon bad guys. Gunners are the slow tough guys with heavy firepower. Soldiers are the jack-of-all trades and healers. Commandos are the sneakers and the snipers.
