We are very pleased to announce our next iRacing Series hosted by Champion Motorsports. We are proudly presenting a three race, Radical SR8 Masters Series, with races every two weeks over the Winter Holidays. Drivers with a 1000+ iRating and and minimum class D license 2.0 and above are eligible to participate. Additionally, known members from Champion Motorsports sim racing community in good standing are eligible to participate regardless of iRating and SR level.

We are also pleased to be offering a series participation prize for these races. All drivers which participate in each of the 3 races will have their names entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of the series. The prize will be the winners choice of either a $25.00 iRacing.com gift card or Amazon.com Gift card. The only restriction is that the winning driver must complete at least 60% of the total laps over the 3 races, so this award recognizes both participation and finishing races. At the conclusion of the series, all drivers meeting the criteria will be put into a random draw and a prize winner selected randomly.

CMS iRacing League (Wednesdays)

Drivers, that do not register at CMS, will be eligible to race if they make iRating and SR requirements, but will not be eligible for series prize, so please be sure to register at CMS, it takes less than 10 minutes and it's a great ay to stay current on the series, and get to know the other drivers.

Here are the Details for the Races ...

first of all the iRacing Sporting and competition code will be in place, and everyone is expected to follow it and race with respect and like adults.
Additionally the CMS General Rules and Regulations apply for all races, so please read them and be familar with them.

  Round 2 = December 21st Oulton Park Island
  Round 3 = January 4th Mid Ohio w/ Chicane

Race Night Details

- NO RACE Password, entry will be controlled by iRating and SR levels
-Practice begins in hosted session at 830 CST (-6GMT) / 930 EST (-5GMT)
-Qualifying begins at 9pm CST / 10pm EST (20 minutes) all cars on track together
-Race starts at approximately 925pm CST / 1025pm EST
-Race distance 45 minutes
-One pit stop for minimum 2 tires required during race at any time after lap 5
-Standing Start
-Driving aids not allowed, except for clutch assist
-Fast Tows not allowed
-Full Course Cautions - OFF

Championship Points

Points Structure
20, 16, 13, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1
Top 10 in the event receive points.
Must Finish 60% of race distance to get points.
We will also pay a 5 point bonus for finishing the race (to the end) with zero incidents.
This is an emphasis and reward we want to put in for clean and respectful racing at CMS ...



What is required to race in this series

1. You need an iRacing.com membership, there is great league based promo offer at this link

2. Additionally you will need to own the Radical SR8 car, and 3 tracks (Watkins Glen, Oulton Park, and Mid Ohio)

Last but not least, please indicate your intention to race in the series by signing up in this thread, with the following:

A) fist and last name
B) preferred car number
C) link to your custom skin if applicable at http://www.tradingpaints.com/

We will build a car pack for download for this series for distribution to all members ...

Absolutely Don, since we know you you will be able to join, and I will make sure of that. I would suggest though getting your subscription as soon as possible and start putting it through it's paces. Do some of the rookie races as you have time and you will be up to Class D in no time at all, but it wont matter as I will make sure you will be admitted to the races ... we let anyone join and then monitor the connections via iRating and SR, except for members like yourself that we already know and trust. -- so it's all good.

Awesome guys, lets keep the sign-ups coming and see if we can make this one of our best participated iRacing series yet, it's going to be short, only 3 races, but lots of fun and I think if we all work to make it a priority for racing that we can have a blast with this and hopefully see the division thrive - DA
